Ralph has been a licensed Radio Amateur since 1985 (Previous calls: KB4OJU, N4NTQ). Ralph currently holds an Amateur Extra Class License, which he obtained in 2011 following a fresh desire to resume his quest for the DXCC Honor Roll. Ralph is an avid DX-er, having 332 DXCC entities currently confirmed. He is also an accomplished contester, preferring the SSB and digital modes.Ralph currently serves as the Vice-President of the Derby City DX Association (Louisville, Kentucky), and is an elected Board Member of the Bullitt Amateur Radio Society (Bullitt County, Kentucky). His other hobbies include that of photography, travel, and railroad history (historical train engines, history of rail transport, historical rail lines). Ralph has a 37-year career in Industrial MRO sales and providing service advice to the MRO industry.
