VK9MT will be Col's 15th Pilot role. As well as keeping DX World website updated daily (he is owner/editor), Col has been Pilot station for a few high profile DXpeditions & stations, namely: 3Y0E (Bouvet Isl), ZS8T (Marion Isl), YI9PSE (Kurdistan, Iraq), 4W6A (Timor Leste), JX5O (Jan Mayen), K4M (Midway Isl), XR0Y (Easter Isl), ST0R (South Sudan), NH8S (Swains), HK0NA (Malpelo), ZL9HR (Campbell Isl), TX5K (Clipperton), K9W (Wake Isl) & FT5ZM (Amsterdam Isl). On two separate occasions he has been an integral part of expeditions awarded DXpedition of the Year (HK0NA, NH8S).Col is a member of Northern California DX Foundation, INDEXA, Island Radio Expedition Foundation, GMDX Group, German DX Foundation, Clipperton DX Club, Russian Robinson Club, Radio Society of Great Britain and Chiltern DX Club. In 2012, he received the GMDX Group DX Award of Excellence and was made Honorary Life Member of DXARC Club. Previous DXpeditions include: HP0INT, CY9M, MS0INT.
